Introducing the In-Office Foot Digitizer

Years in development, Northwest Podiatric Laboratory introduces the new In-Office Foot Digitizer to healthcare professionals in North America, Asia and Europe.

Making custom foot orthotics using data from a scanner or similar technology is nothing new. Over the years we’ve carefully examined numerous technologies and none could capture the information we need to craft a premium Northwest Podiatric Laboratory custom foot orthotic.

Rather than settle for an existing technology, we chose to design a proprietary, new system utilizing our decades of hand-on experience and knowledge, spearheaded by Christopher Smith, DPM, Professor Emeritus in Podiatric Biomechanics from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Over three years of outside-the-box-thinking, prototyping and testing later, we’re proud to introduce our Northwest-exclusive In-Office Foot Digitizer.

From the beginning, we developed the Digitizer with two goals in mind: 1) to create a simple system able to capture the proper data with the patient’s feet in the correct position and 2) to ensure the orthotics crafted using this data meet (or surpass) our stringent quality standards.

We’ve achieved these goals with the In-Office Foot Digitizer. “We won’t put our name on anything less,” says Vice President Christopher Smith, DPM.
